John Mike Orloff

John Mike Orloff passed away Friday, February 5, 2010 at his home in Maywood, California.John was born on October 13, 1915 in Mexico, the son of Mike John and Julia Orloff. He grew up in the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles and attended Roosevelt High School. He married Dorothy Samarin on July 18, 1937.John liked sports - watching or playing. He also enjoyed fishing in the ocean and woodworking. Most of all, he loved bowling. Mr. Orloff was a member of the Russian Molokan Christian Association.John is survived by three children, Susan and Marilyn Samarin, and Michael Orloff.Viewing will take place Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E. Philadelphia St., Whittier. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 also at White Emerson Mortuary. Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the Russian Molokan Cemetery in Commerce, California.Condolences may be emailed to the family through our Guestbook.
