Jennifer Ann Kent

Jennifer Ann Kent was born February 13, 1974, in Downey, California, to David and Linda (Kegarice) Kent. She passed away on March 10, 2017, in Downey, California, at the age of 43.



Jen, as she was known, grew up and went to school in La Mirada, California, graduating from La Mirada High School. She went to do course work at both Cerritos College and Cypress College and became licensed as a Dental Assistant. After a short time working with a dentist, Jen moved on to the other side of the dental fieldshe went to work for Delta Dental and then on to Liberty Dental Plan. While she enjoyed her work, she was pursuing her education in the challenging field of radiology. Jen was working on becoming a Radiology Technologist and was on the Deans List at her school.



Dogs may be a mans best friend, but Jen LOVED cats! She enjoyed bowling, crafts and water sports and spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered by those who knew her as kind, loving and compassionate.



Survivors include her partner, Ruth Ordorica; parents, David and Linda Kent; brother, Steve (Carolyn) Kent; nieces, Amy, Madeline, and Meagan; and numerous friends.



A Funeral Service will be held at 11am on Monday, March 27, 2017, at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 Philadelphia St., Whittier, California. Interment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.
