Jeffrey Todd Ellis

Jeffrey Todd Ellis was born August 19, 1954, in Whittier, California, to Leonard and Anita (Manley) Ellis. He passed away Friday, September 27, 2013, in Fullerton, California, at the age 59.



A life-long resident, Jeff grew up and went to school in Whittier, graduating from California High School. He continued his education at Cal Poly Pomona where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology.



In June of 1985, Jeffrey married Carla Pauline Piersant at Hillcrest Congregation Church in Whittier, California. They made their home in Whittier, where they raised their three children: Daniel Scott, Eden Ann, and Alison Roses.



Jeffrey spent his 30-year career in the Clinical Lab of St. Jude Medical Center in Fullerton, California. For many of those years, he worked as Lab Supervisor. Jeff and his family attended Morningstar Christian Chapel in Whittier, California.



In his free time, Jeffrey enjoyed being in the garage. He liked to tinker on his VW and Mini Cooper, as well as remote controlled helicopters and RC cars. Though he never really got the hang of flying the helicopters, he enjoyed trying! Yes, he enjoyed his toys, but above all, Jeff was a family man. He loved his wife dearly, and his children were his 'everything!' He was very proud of each of them, and he had profound love for them.



Jeff will be remembered as a very loving, generous and caring man who had a good heart. He was definitely capable of acting a bit goofy at times, but it just added to his charm!



Survivors include his wife, Carla; children, Daniel, Eden, and Alison; and siblings, Gregory, Laura, Lynne.



A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, October 4, 2013, at Morningstar Christian Chapel, 16241 Leffingwell Road, Whittier, California.
