Janet A. Cade

Janet (Faulkner) Cade was born in Long Beach, California on October 30, 1937 to George and Jane Faulkner. 

In 1955, Janet met George Cade on a blind date, introduced by dear friends. They fell in love, married, and celebrated 55 years together until the passing of her beloved husband, George Cade. 

Janet was active in the Downey community where she lived for 70 years. She was known for her warm smile, contagious laughter, and generous hospitality. She had a gift for music and used it to serve the Lord. Active in Florence Avenue Foursquare Church in Santa Fe Springs, she directed the Sanctuary Choir, the Youth Choir, became the church organist and supported numerous ministries. She continued to faithfully serve her family and the Lord Jesus until she took her last breath on September 30, 2024.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Jeanne and Bill Brewer, Jani and Nick Lopez, Judy and Randy Bevington

Grandchildren: Cade (Courtnie) Bevington, Cassidy (Cole) Pocock, Austin Lopez

Great Grandchildren: Callie Bevington, Camryn Bevington, Charlotte Pocock

Sister and Brother-in-law: Ruby and John Cole

Additional family: Daryl, Karen, Kristen and Kara Klein

Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
