Jamie Tomlinson

Jamie Laurene Neora Tomlinson passed away on February 6, 2022 in Whittier, California at the age of 39. She was born on May 5, 1982 in Modesto, California to Richard Patrick Johnson and Briana Laurene Jett-Lauth. Jamie grew up in the City of Orange, California with her sister, Breaz; mom, Briana and stepdad, Ted Lauth. After attending Fletcher Elementary School in Orange, California and Cerro Villa Middle School in Villa Park, California she would later graduate from Villa Park High School in 2000. Jamie earned her undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fullerton, received her multiple subject teaching credential from California State University, Long Beach and her Masters Degree in Education in elementary reading and literacy from Walden University. Jamie was a teacher for more than 13 years, most recently serving at Betsy Ross Elementary School in Anaheim, California where she was loved by many students and faculty alike. Jamie married the love of her life, Daniel Mark Tomlinson on September 20, 2014 in Palos Verdes, California. Together they shared many cherished memories and adventures, none greater than the welcoming and raising of their 3 children, Bailey, Halle and Brady. She was a devoted mother and wife and took great joy in watching her children grow. Spending time with family and friends brought great joy into Jamie's life as well as her love of music, reading, listening to podcasts and working out. As a friend, you could ask for no one greater than Jamie. She gave effortlessly without expecting anything in return, cherished the time she spent with others and encouraged many people throughout her life with her genuine and pure compliments. No one could deny that Jamie's faith was a powerful influence on her life. In addition to being baptized and confirmed at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Whittier, California Jamie would later attend St. Bruno Catholic Church, where her services will be held on Friday, February 18th 2022 at 10:30AM. Following the Funeral Mass Jamie will be laid to rest at Loma Vista Memorial Park in Fullerton, California.

Jamie leaves behind her 3 beloved children, Bailey (5 years old), Halle (1 year old) and Brady (1 year old); her husband Daniel Tomlinson; her mother, Briana Jett-Lauth, her sister Breaz DeRousse, two step sisters, Tanya Salcido, Natasha Lauth and step brother, TJ Lauth. Jamie also leaves behind two nieces, Victoria and Catherine DeRousse, nephew, James DeRousse and so many more extended family members, coworkers and friends.

She will be very missed.
