James Edgar Radeke Jr.

James Edgar Radke Jr. 68 years old. Went home to his heavenly father March 29, 2025 at St. Cathrines Healthcare. He was born February 13, 1957 in Michigan. He was the youngest of five children born to James Edgar Radeke Sr. and Geneva Evelyn Radeke.

He loved running track in school. He also learned karate in a Chuck Norris studio. He had to use his skills one time against a school bully and got suspended. He also achieved his eagle scout. He went to college where he earned many technical degrees and certifications. He was a faithful member of the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints . Although he worshipped quietly and privately he never let his faith waver.

James married his sweetheart Darlene in June 17, 1978. Surrounded by family and friends with a backyard ceremony in Paramount California.

He became a grandfather to his first grandson Dakota James West November 2003. On a visit one Christmas Dakota got grandpa to be a kid again. He got daddy papa to crawl and play horsey with him. Since then he has added two more grandsons to his collection. Cowin Bridger West September 2008 and Rygon Chance West April 2010.

He has worked at Amphastar Pharmaceuticals for 20 years. He loved putting his computer skills to the test and pushing his limits.

He was processed in death by his parents James Edgar Radeke Sr. , Gaveva Evelyn Adam's, brother's William James Radeke, and Andrew Ralph Radeke. Father in law William Devan Bates , Melvin Leroy Anderson. Mother in law Pat Anderson, sister in laws Rebecca Anderson, and Jane Bates.

He is survived by his wife Darlene Radeke. His children Christopher Mathew Radeke, Angela Mary West (Christopher West) Grandsons Dakota West, Corwin West, and Rygon West. His sisters Velma Florence Poland, Veronica Hope Cormier as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins.

A private celebration of life and a graveside service will be held.
