James Carrol Scott

James Carrol Scott, 84, was born in Long Beach, California to John and Mildred Scott on March 25, 1928. He passed away Friday, June 1, 2012 in Fullerton, California.James and his family moved to 19 different cities as he was growing up. After high school, James went directly into Broadcasting Academy College. He served his country in the Navy from January 14, 1946 to September 16, 1947 as a Seaman First CR S1. On September 9, 1950, James married his first wife, Imogene, and the two of them shared over fifty years of marriage together until Imogene's passing in 2001. James and Imogene had two children, Jim and Dan. On March 12, 2006, James married Debbie Conley in Laughlin, Nevada. Debbie now survives her husband, and, as she calls him, 'her best friend and partner who will be truly missed.'Throughout the course of his life, James has lived in Alaska and California. He spent his career as a real estate agent for over 35 years. He enjoyed his family, fishing and traveling. He belonged to the American Legion and was president of the Real Estate Board of Orange County.James' family wishes to send a special thanks to St. Jude Medical Center and, specifically, Dr. Wielenga, Dr. Shum, Dr. Hardeman, and the entire medical board for their excellent care of James. James is survived by his wife Debbie; his two sons, Jim and Dan; 3 grandchildren, Danny Jr. Shaun, and Justin; 4 great grandchildren Trenton, Leighton, Stella and Savanah; one sister Barbara; one niece Linda; and 2 nephews, David and Gene.
