Jack Blair Heitzman

Jack Blair Heitzman was born March 10, 1943 in Sioux City, Iowa to Jack Harold and Lois (Jacobson) Heitzman. He passed away March 4, 2011 in Whittier, California.Jack spent his early years in Sioux City, moving to Whittier in 1955. After high school, he studied at Rio Hondo College and honorably served his country in the US Army.On April 18, 1964, Jack married Gloria Murphy in Whittier. They have enjoyed 46 years together and raised two daughters, Debbie (Malone) and Sandi (Frickle). They all survive Jack, as do five grandchildren;Jeffrey Malone, Miranda Frickle, Abby Frickle, Bryan Malone, and Amanda Frickle. two sons-in-law, Craig Malone and Garrett Frickle; his mother, Lois Heitzman; sister, Penny Walker; and four brothers, Dan, Ron, Tom and Frank Heitzman.Jack worked for Consolidated Freightways for over 30 years. During his time off, he enjoyed his family and a number of hobbies. He like cars and electronics as well as photography and old movies.
