Ines Romona Lechuga

Ines Romona Lechuga, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away on June 29, 2023, in La Mirada, CA. Born on January 21, 1926, in Julesburg, Colorado, she lived a life filled with love and purpose.

Ines was a woman of deep faith and lived her life in accordance with her beliefs as a devoted member of the 7th Day Adventist community. Her unwavering commitment to her spiritual journey was an inspiration to all who knew her. She found solace and strength in her faith during times of joy and sorrow.

One of Ines's proudest accomplishments was her passion for gardening. She had a green thumb like no other and transformed her home into a botanical masterpiece. The colorful flowers and meticulously manicured landscapes were a testament to her creativity and love for nature. In recognition of her talent, Ines received numerous awards for her outstanding gardening skills.

On April 4, 1948, Ines married the love of her life, Manuel E. Lechuga. Their marriage was built on a foundation of love, respect, and shared values. Together they created a home filled with warmth and laughter. Manuel preceded Ines in death but their bond remains unbreakable.

Ines will be deeply missed by her children Yolanda, Patricia, Daniel, and David. Her love for them was unconditional and she cherished every moment spent together as a family. In addition to her children, Ines leaves behind a legacy through her grandchildren Renee, Ana, Marleen, Michael, Jesse, Jessica, Danny, Gina, and Daniel. Grandson Tony preceded Ines in death. They were the light of her life and brought immeasurable joy to her heart.

The memory of Ines Romona Lechuga will forever be treasured by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. She leaves behind a lasting impact on the lives she touched with her kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith.

A Funeral Service will be held in her honor on July 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Whittier Seventh-day Adventist Church located at 8841 Calmada Ave, Whittier, CA 90605. Following the service, a Graveside Service will take place at Olive Lawn Memorial Park located at S La Mirada Blvd, La Mirada, CA 90638.

Ines may no longer be with us in physical form, but her spirit will forever live on in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she was deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
