Glen Andrew Ragle, 62, of La Habra Heights, California, was called to heaven on February 14, 2024. Glen was born July 14, 1961, to Richard and Daphne Ragle.
Glen, a most devoted and loving husband and father is survived by his wife, Vanessa; daughters, Sarah and Sandra; and his two playful cats, Tuffy IV and Fig.
After attending college at CSULB, Glen worked in the environmental and underground storage tank industry for over 35 years at GeoResearch, Wayne Perry, Inc., and ultimately Fueling and Service Technologies, Inc. (FASTECH). Glen was an accomplished professional and was instrumental in developing many successful programs, offering valuable comradery, mentorship, and expertise to all with whom he worked.
A man of many hobbies, in his early years Glen loved surfing, radio-controlled airplanes, riding bikes and causing trouble with his friends. Later in life, he developed passions for sailing, photography, astronomy, building and flying drones, target shooting and reloading, camping, home improvement, and gardening. He loved reading books and watching documentaries; he was always the guy who knew something about any topic you could think of, and never failed in being eager to share that knowledge.
Glen was a kind-hearted, caring, and good man who was always more than happy to help others. He had a knack for using analogies and drawings to explain complicated topics. He often said that if you borrowed something from someone, you return it in better condition than you received it. Not wanting to bother others, he prided himself on being self-sufficient and a meticulous planner, wanting to “do things right the first time.” He poured that same diligent attention into his care for others, always looking after his family and loving to spoil his girls.
Glen was truly a great man whose impact will forever be felt by his family who misses him dearly. His passing leaves an unfillable hole in the hearts of all who loved him. His ability to sacrifice, provide, support, teach, forgive and love will be forever ingrained in the hearts of those who knew him.
