Frederick Nelson LeRoy Salter

Frederick Nelson LeRoy Salter was born on September 17, 1933 in London, Ontario, Canada, to Oscar and Nellie Maude (Fisher) Salter.He passed away on July 28, 2012 at the age of 78.Frederick grew up and attended grade school in London, Ontario, Canada, and graduated from Parkhill High School in Ontario, Canada.He served two years in the Canadian Army.Frederick married Shirley A. Salter in Carrying Place, Ontario, Canada on September 7, 1957.He worked from 1964-1978 for Security National Bank and then another 10 years as Vice President for Wells Fargo Bank.His hobbies and interests were landscaping his yard, gardening and woodworking.Frederick served as Bishop's Warden, Deacon and Treasurer for the Church of the Incarnation, Norwalk, California. He was a bank Vice President with Wells Fargo Bank, a member of Kiwanis and a Scoutmaster for troop 911.Frederick is survived by his daughter, Heather Buchanan, and son's; Michael, Brian and Stephen Salter, along with four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at 11am at St. Francis Episcopal Church, 12700 Paddison Avenue, Norwalk, California.
