Franklin Charles Quire

Franklin Charles Quire was born on September 22nd, 1931 in Reading, Pennsylvania to Franklin and Clara Quire. He grew up in Reading, PA and attended Central High School. After High School, Frank joined the Air Force in Arizona as a Military Police where he was stationed from 1950 - 1953. He later worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a Brakeman and later at Amtrak, as a Conductor, where he later retired.

Franklin married Nancy Paul on August 1, 1959 at Holy Guardian Angels Church in Reading, PA. After they got married, Nancy and Frank moved to Maywood, California and finally settled in Whittier, California where they raised their six children.

Frank enjoyed building puzzles, collecting coins and stamps, relaxing in the pool and spending time with his family.

Frank was a longtime parishioner at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Whittier. After the death of his wife Nancy, Frank eventually moved to Rancho Cucamonga where he lived in Senior Apartments.

On March 26, 2018, Frank passed away in Upland, CA . He leaves behind his children Michele, Beth, Charles, Joseph, Gary and Colleen, his grandchildren Krystal, Joseph, Matthew, Austin, Ethan, Samantha, Everett and Jacob, his brothers Bernie Quire and Kenneth Quire, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Frank was predeceased by his two brothers, Donald Quire and Lawrence Quire and by his wife of 54 years, Nancy Quire.
