While on leave from boot camp, he met his wife Genevieve through a mutual friend. Frank served in Vietnam for one year before being honorably discharged from the US Army. Upon returning, seven days later, he married the love of his life, Genevieve Granillo, on September 26, 1970, at St. Bernadine's Catholic Church. Frank and Genevieve celebrated 52 years of marriage together before he passed. They built a life together and welcomed five children. Frank supported his family with his accounting degree that he received from the California State University of Sacramento. Frank was an accountant for 39 years before retiring at age 65.
Frank is survived by the love of his life Genevieve; his five faithful children and their spouses, Frank and Mimi, Edward and Marina, Valerie and John, Judith and Michael, and Cynthia and Carlos; and his eight treasured grandchildren, Daniel, Nicholas, Matthew, Sarina, Carlos III, Connor, Kenneth, and James. Frank is also survived by his beloved siblings Nancy, John, and Janice.
Frank enjoyed playing his dad's organ, walking his beloved dog Brandy, going to the theater, watching musicals and concerts. He also loved to travel and go on cruises with his wife, Genevieve. Most of all, he loved to watch and play games with his eight adored grandchildren. He loved to teach them about the piano, chess and hated to lose at Uno to them. Frank was a dedicated Grandpaw who would take them to the museum and the park and loved to watch and cheer for his grandkids at their various sports activities. In addition to Frank's multiple hobbies, he was a devout Catholic who would attend mass every Sunday with his wife, his daughter Cyndi, and her family. He would often take Bible study classes and lecture series about the Bible. To Frank, his family and his religion was everything.
