Francisco Pablo Perez passed away on November 16, 2018 in Whittier, California at the age of 80 years old. He was born on January 27, 1938 in Pinar del Rio, Cuba to Felicito Perez and Hilda Blanco.

Francisco grew up in Havana, Cuba and worked as a delivery specialist at the railroads. On September 7, 1958 he married Zenaida Ferro and together they would later migrate to the United States in 1980. In 1987 they settled in Whittier, where Francisco would spend the rest of his life.

He loved the New York Yankees, playing the lottery every week, listening to music, watching television, discussing politics and cooking Cuban food for family and friends.

Francisco is survived by his son, Victor Perez Ferro, daughter, Viviana Perez, sister, Elena Fuster, son-in-law, Jose Sanchez, stepson, Luis Fernandez, grandchildren, Jacqueline Lugo, Priscilla Perez, Kevin Lugo and Brian Sanchez.

A family gathering will be held 12pm 4pm on Saturday, December 8th at White Emerson Mortuary with a memorial service starting at 1pm. Please remember Francisco in your hearts every year on December 4th since it is the Feast Day of Santa Barbara whom he had a great devotion to.
