Eleanor S. Kane, 93, passed away at home in La Habra, California on May 29, 2017. Born in Los Angeles on May 8, 1924, Eleanor was born to her parents, Sam & Jennie (Kalpakoff) Volkov. She was married to Martin W. Kane on October 28, 1960 and together they had two children, Martin Jr. and Ellen. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Eleanor grew up in Los Angeles and attended Theodore Roosevelt High School and was a graduate of the class of 1942. She worked for the Air Force as a civilian in Las Vegas, Nevada for many years. She would eventually move back to southern California to work as an accountant for a Laguna Beach realtor, a San Diego museum, and various other CPA firms throughout Orange County. Eleanor loved everything about real estate, including home renovations and interior design. She was also an avid traveler, experiencing life adventures with her friends.

Eleanor is survived by her daughter Ellen (Robert) Norris; and her grandchildren, Christian, Robby, Samantha and Madeline. She is preceded in death by her son Martin Jr.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 at 2pm at Loma Vista Memorial Park, Fullerton. A Celebration of Life will take place immediately following the graveside at the familys home.
