Elaine Zalunardo

Elaine Zalunardo was born on March 29, 1944, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Joseph James and Carmella ( Augello) Lanza. She passed away on August 24, 2016, in Whittier, California, at the age of 72.



She grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, and Lomita, California.

She married Albert Zalunardo on June 30, 1967 in Pasadena, California. They were married for 49 years.



Elaine is survived by her husband, Albert; two daughters, Nadine Zalunardo Juarez and Nina Zalunardo; son-in-law, Ramon Juarez; four grandsons, David Navar, 17, Daniel Navar, 14, Joseph Juarez, 14 and Vincent Juarez, 12.



Elaine lived most of her married life in La Habra, California. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to read the Bible, go shopping, and doing things for others. She also enjoyed mentoring children. Elaine regularly attended church at Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Habra, California, and St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Whittier, California.
