Eduardo Ray Villarreal was born on December 20, 1954, in Mission, Texas, to Ignacio and Ofelia (Perez) Villarreal. He passed away on September 19, 2015, in Santa Monica, California, at the age of 60.
Eduardo grew up in La Mirada, California, and attended La Mirada High School and also Cerritos College. He served in the United States Army as a military police officer from 1975-1978, with Honorable Discharge, as an ammunition specialist and expert marksman (rifle).
Eduardo and Tammy Ann Opp were married in Los Angeles City Hall on October 23, 1989. A loving marriage for 26 years!
He is survived by his wife, Tammy; daughter, Rebecca Michelle Villarreal; father, Ignacio Viillarreal Sr.; sister, Renee Villarreal; brother, Tudy Villarreal; nephews, Rigo Ordonez, Aaron Ordonez, and mother in law, Bonnie Opp.
He lived in Whittier, California, with his wife Tammy; daughter, Rebecca, and brother-in-law, David.
Eduardo was a loss prevention manager at Sears Roebuck Co., a merchandiser at Dreyers Grand Ice Cream, and a resource developer at Orange County A.R.C., where he placed people with disabilities into loving, caring homes.
He loved golf, baseball, and anything military related, and volunteer work. Eduardo attended Good Shepherd Church, Whittier, California, and served as a volunteer with the Whittier Police department.
