Dominico Mena, Sr. was born April 13, 1941, to Victoria and Encarnacion Mena in Los Angeles, CA. He grew up with his 7 siblings and graduated from Garfield High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and afterwards married, Connie Olivas on June 24, 1967, in Los Angeles.
Dominico is survived by his wife of 55 years, Connie, 2 children, 12 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren and 100s of friends. He passed into eternity on November 7, 2022, surrounded by his large family in Whittier, CA. He was a hard worker as a warehouse manager for 22 years, and then in his 40's learned to be an electrician, then a truck driver for 18 years until his retirement.
Dominic grew in his faith and worshipped with friends and family at First Fundamental Bible Church and then Pico Rivera Bible Church. One of his greatest joys was making new friends and telling stories - with Dominic "There were no strangers."
