Delores Joan McClure

Delores Joan McClure was born January 15, 1932, in Glendale, California. She passed away at her home in Chino Hills, California, on November 11, 2014, at the age of 82.



Dee, as she was known by many, grew up and went to school in Glendale. In 1949 she married Ray McClure, and they made their home in Pico Rivera, California. Delores and Ray were blessed with five children: Carol Raye, Kenneth Craig, Glen Edward, Robert Dean, and Janice Renee. Ray passed away in 2001, and Delores eventually moved to Chino Hills to be near her daughter, Janice.



Sewing, animals, and spending time with friends were among Dees favorite pastimes. She also enjoyed playing word games. A devout Christian, Delores most recently attended Chino Valley Community Church.



Survivors include her sons, Glen (Cathy) and Robert McClure; daughter, Janice (Doug) Edwards; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; daughter, Carol Raye; and son, Kenneth Craig.



A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm on Monday, November 24, 2014, at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E. Philadelphia St., Whittier, California.
