Deana Marie Hoefler

Deana Hoefler was born on February 10, 1957 in Little Falls, Minnesota to Harry and Mary Brummer. She grew up in Hillman, Minnesota and went to school in Onamia.



On May 30, 1986 Deana married George John Hoefler in Bulldog Lake, Minnesota. The couple had three children; Casey, Josi and John. Throughout her life Deana worked as a material handler and an interior decorator, though her primary joy was being a homemaker, mother and grandmother.



Deana had many hobbies. She loved gardening, decorating, reading, dancing and singing. She was involved in Christian Mothers, a club in Buckman, MN and also an active member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Buckman. Finally, Deana loved spending time with her family and friends.



On February 21, 2014 Deana passed away in Whittier, California. She leaves behind her husband of 27 years, George, her three children Casey (Justina), Josi and John, her four grandchildren, Jala, Casey II, Julissa and Ian, her siblings Andy, Liz and Peggy, many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her Father, Harry Brummer, Mother, Mary Brummer, and her Brother Jody Brummer.



A service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at St. Michaels Parish in Buckman, MN with a visitation beginning at 9:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am. The burial will be determined at a later date.
