Dawna Le-Ann Sepulveda was born September 25, 1969, in La Mirada, California, to Gary and Dorothy (Cornilliac) Rudisill. She passed away on December 30, 2017, in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 48.
Dawna grew up in east LA County and graduated from Rowland Heights High School. On June 19, 1993, she married the love of her life, Steven Sepulveda, in San Pedro, California. They made their home in Whittier, California, where they raised their two children, Seth Daniel and Janis Nicole.
For the past ten years, Dawna worked for CBE Office Solutions in City of Industry, California. She was pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice at Rio Hondo College. She was very intrigued with that field and hoped to one day work in law enforcement.
Dawna was a dynamic individual who lit up any room she entered. She was totally selfless and found her greatest joy in doing for and giving to others. She loved her family dearly, and she was their everything! She was most happy when spending time with family and friends.
Having a great love for the Lord, Dawna was very active at EFree Church of Diamond Bar. She enjoyed going on womens retreats and found her faith strengthened there. Her bright personality carried over to art. She enjoyed doodling with color arts, painting knick knacks, and creating beautiful projects at Color Me Mine. Puzzles and dark chocolate were also pleasures she enjoyed. As sweet as she was, Dawna was also fiercely competitive. She loved playing games, and she played to WIN!!!
Life will not be the same without her, but Dawna has blessed the lives of all who knew her. Her love and influence will remain with them forever!
Dawna is survived by her doting husband, Steven Sepulveda; children, Seth Daniel and Janis Nicole Sepulveda; her mother, Dorothy Morris; and siblings, Debbie Schlacter, Robert Rudisill, and Bradley Morris.
