David M. Marquez

David M. Marquez passed away April 5, 2010 at the age of 56. Dave was born June 8, 1953 in Monterey Park, California to Parents Thomas and Alicia Marquez. Dave grew up in Pico Rivera, Ca. where he graduated from El Rancho High School. Dave then went on to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Cal-State Los Angeles.Dave lived his whole life in Los Angeles County and served his community as a Deputy Sheriff for LA County for 25 Years.Dave enjoyed playing and coaching baseball. He coached little league baseball the last 6 years as well as playing on the church softball team of Palmview church where he was involved. He also helped with the sound team at church. Dave also enjoyed sailing, but most of all he took great pride in his Grandchildren.Dave is survived by his son Nicholas Marquez, Mother Alicia Marquez, Siblings Lori and Nancy and his grandchildren Ezekiel and Jocelyn.Services will be held Monday, April 12, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Florence Avenue Foursquare Church.
