David Albert Lindquist was born in October of 1939, in Los Angeles, California, to Albert and Lillian (Startzman) Lindquist. He passed away on March 22, 2020, at his home in Hacienda Heights, at the age of 80.
David grew up and went to school in Whittier, California, along with his brother, Charles, and sister, Betty. He went on to serve his country honorably in the US Army during the Korean Conflict (1963-1965). He returned and began his career in automobile clock repair.
On March 11, 1967, David married the love of his life, Kathy Seeger. They loved each other dearly. Speaking of their 53 years together, Kathy says they were, Perfect.
A long-time clock repairman in Whittier, David also enjoyed restoring Thunderbird automobiles, traveling and photography. He loved his animals: dogs, cats, chickens, guinea hens, a goat, duck, goose and rabbits.
David was also active in civic service and other organizations. He served as Treasurer of the Whittier Community Theatre for 25 years and President of the Rabbit Club. He was also a member of several Thunderbird clubs and the National Watch and Clock Collectors organization.
David is survived by his wife, Kathy Lindquist; siblings, Charles Lindquist and Betty Pearson; and several nieces and grand-nieces.
Viewing will take place from 1-4pm on Thursday, March 25, 2020. In order to comply with current Public Health Orders, guests will be allowed to view in groups of 6 at a time and must respect social distancing of six feet.
