Danny Vasquez

Danny Vasquez, born Guadalupe D. Vasquez was born on April 9, 1954 in Los Angeles, California to Mario and Mercedes Vasquez. Danny was one of 14 children. He had 9 sisters and 4 brothers and grew up in Santa Fe Springs, California before moving to Whittier, California in 1985.



In 1971, Danny married Theresa Guzman and the two were married until 1973. Danny married his second wife, Cathy, in 1977 and the two shared over 37 years together. Danny had three children: John, Amy and Daniel and five grandchildren.



Danny had many hobbies and interests. He loved to cook gourmet dishes, paint with oil paints and golf. He wasnt shy about trying new things such as scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing, and really anything he could! He was also actively involved in cancer groups where he loved to encourage people through difficult times.



Danny and his family were involved with Morningstar Church in La Habra, California. Danny was a man of deep faith and accepted Christ as his savior.



On September 28, 2014, Danny passed away in Whittier, California. He is survived by his wife, Cathy, of 37 years Cathy, his three children, five grandchildren, 8 sisters, 3 brothers, and many dear friends and extended family members.
