Dale Huckfeldt

Dale Huckfeldt was born on March 25, 1922 to parents Edward and Nellie Huckfeldt in Hastings, Nebraska. The family later moved to Whittier, California where Dale grew up. He later attended Fullerton Junior College. He also joined and honorably served in the United States Navy. On October 25, 1942 he married Lucille, who was to be his wife for 68 years, at the First Baptist Church of Whittier.Dale owned Huckfeldt Furniture of Whittier which operated for 66 years. He and his wife worked side by side there. The two of them also enjoyed church activities. Dale assisted as a head usher. Dale loved fishing, talking to people, and telling clean jokes and stories. Most importantly, he loved the Lord.Dale passed away on November 26, 2010 in Whittier, California. He is survived by his wife, Lucille; daughter, Majorie Crowel and husband Robert; his 5 grandchildren, Dale Allee, Louis Allee, David Allee, Marty Allee, and Margie Allee. Dale is also survived by his 5 great grandchildren.
