Cynthia Marie Cronin
March 31, 1956 - October 2, 2016
Cynthia Marie Cronin was born on March 31, 1956, in Monterey Park, California to John and Philomena Cronin. She was the second of six children and grew up in a large, loving family in Whittier, California.
After graduating college with a masters degree, Cynthia began what would become a long career as a librarian. After 20 years as a successful librarian, Cynthia made the selfless decision to sacrifice this comfortable career in order to become a school teacher. She desired to have a more direct and positive daily impact on the lives of young children that would touch them for a lifetime. And that she did for the next 17 years.
Cynthia was also very involved in the Church, becoming a Eucharistic Minister and being very active in the Catholic Alumni Club. Her kind and humorous personality resulted in the growth of countless friendships in the Church and among her fellow school teachers.
Cynthia is survived by her loving parents, John and Philomena; brothers, Steven, Michael, Daniel, Paul, and Gary; sisters-in-law, Ana and Connie; nephews, Jonathan and Jacob; and niece Daphnne.
