Connie Sanchez

May 25, 1954 — June 16, 2023

Connie Sanchez passed away on June 16, 2023 in San Bernardino, California at the age of 69. She was born on May 25, 1954 in Guatemala and moved to the US in her late 30s. She was a longtime resident of Montebello, California, a city she loved very much. She then spent her last years in San Bernardino.

In Guatemala Connie was a missionary for the Christian Church and visited many towns to spread the word of God since the age of 18. She then married her husband of 30 years, Magdaleno Sanchez on January 27, 1973 and welcomed four children along the way.

Connie loved listening to music, dancing, and singing her favorite songs. She loved family gatherings and taking trips to new cities. Above all she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a kind and generous person who loved her children very much.

Connie is survived by her ex-husband Magdaleno; children, Marina, Margaret, Mitchel and Jaime; grandchildren, Kimberly, Katherine, Eva, Mia, Jake and Franky.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at White Emerson Mortuary with a prayer service starting at 2pm. Immediately after there will be a reception at White Emerson Mortuary Pavilion from 3-5pm. Please feel free to bring a potluck dish of your choosing in memory of Connie.
