Christopher Kevin Primeau was born February 27, 1961 in Whittier, California. He passed away unexpectedly on January 5, 2013 in Pomona, California.
'Chris', as he was known, was born with the challenge of autism. At the age of 7 he took residence at the Lanterman Developmental Center in Pomona, California. Lanterman offered him the care and skills training he needed, yet he was visited regularly by his family. He was preparing to move into a community home where he would have lived just three miles from his parents.
Though unique to his level of autism, Chris was very affectionate towards his mother. His family loved him dearly, and he will be sorely missed.
Christopher is survived by his parents, Lee and Jacquelene Bayer; sisters, Kathryn (Fred) Gustafsson and Leah (John) Duncan; nephews, John Thomas, Dalton and Jonah Duncan; uncle, Bill Pinkerton; and numerous cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E. Philadelphia St., Whittier, California. Private family interment will occur at a later time at Memory Garden Memorial Park in Brea, California.
