Cecilia Eva Kramar August 30, 1939 - December 26, 2017, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 78. She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, John Kramar of Hacienda Heights, CA, her daughter Judy Ridgway in Mukilteo, WA, her son John Willard Kramar III in San Francisco, CA, and her grandson Benjamin Shoemaker Ridgway III. Eva was born to Assembly of God missionary parents in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, where she grew up speaking both English and Cantonese and not returning to the United States until the age of 12. She also lived in Apple Valley, CA, for 15 years. Eva was a creative soul who enjoyed gourmet cooking, sewing, painting, interior design, all sorts of arts and crafts, and a devoted Dodgers fan. Until her later years, Eva was a dedicated Childrens Sunday School teacher, choir member, and women's' group leader with various Assembly of God congregations. Eva is best remembered for her Christian hospitality in hosting large gatherings for her church, for the local decorative painters' society, and for preparing special meals when visitors and family passed through her home. A celebration of her life will be at Grace Community Church (CityReach), 7106 Sorensen Ave, Whittier, California, on January 20th at 11 AM. Instead of flowers, please make donations to Grace Community Church (http://gracecommunityag.church/)
