Carol Marie Blain, 74, passed away in Whittier, California on July 3, 2016. Carol was born on March 26, 1942 in Huntington Park, California to Wiley Calvin and Anna Beth Anderson. She was raised, attended school and met her future husband, Don Blain, in Lynwood, California.



On October 15, 1960 Carol married Don in Las Vegas, Nevada. Carol and Don moved to Whittier, California in February of 1969 where they raised their two children, Carrie and Donnie.



Professionally, Carol opened Complete Escrow Service in 1979 which was both successful and fulfilling to her for over 35 years. She was a longtime active affiliate of both the Pacific West Board of Realtors and the Womens Council of Realtors. She was also active in the Soroptimist Club of Whittier. In addition to enjoying her work, Carol also loved travel and anything involving her grandchildren. In her later years she attended Calvary Chapel Pomona Valley with her daughter Carrie and son-in-law Bill.



On Sunday morning, July 3, 2016 in Whittier, California Carol went home to be with her Lord and Savior and be reunited with her husband Don. She is survived by her two children: Carrie Griggs and Donnie Blain, her grandchildren, Casey and Michael Gonzalez and her brother, Matt Anderson.



There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 3:00pm at First Love Calvary Chapel Whittier.
