Carl L. Jules

Carl L. Jules was born August 20, 1939, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, to Carl Ludwig and Elsie Ann (Huebner) Jules. He passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014, in Whittier, California.



Mr. Jules grew up and went to school in Pennsylvania, graduating from Sharpsville High School. He went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Marine Corp, after which he settled down in Whittier, California.



Shortly after moving to Whittier, Carl met and fell in love with Diane Lynn Hooper. They were married on November 26, 1965, in Whittier, California, and had many wonderful years together. Carl and Diane were blessed with two daughters, Lisa Marie and Dena Michelle.



Carls career began as a street sweeper operator for the City of Whittier. Over the years he was promoted several times, eventually retiring as Deputy Director of Public Works.



Fishing and classic cars were Carls favorite hobbies. He was a proud member of Vintage Street Rodders So Cal car club. Carl had faith in God and was a Christian.



Survivors include his daughters, Lisa Marie (Edward R. II) Andrade and Dena Michelle Jules; sister, Norma Sweeney; brother, Bob Jules; and grandchildren, Diego and Julian Andrade. He was preceded prematurely by his dear wife, Diane Lynn Jules.



A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 E. Philadelphia St., Whittier, CA. Interment will immediately follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, also in Whittier.
