Bridgette Mae Bruner

Bridgette Mae Bruner was born July 24, 1963, in Pico Rivera, California, to Jim Carrol and Joyce Elaine (Byrd) Green. She passed away on December 10, 2018, in La Mirada, California, at the age of 55.

Bridgette grew up and went to school in La Mirada, graduating from Neff High School. On December 29, 1989, she married the love of her life, Dennis Bruner, in Santa Ana, California. They made their home in La Mirada and were blessed with three children, Rachel, Ashley, and Trevor. More recently her family moved to Park Hill, Oklahoma, where she officially resided at the time of her death.

Family always came first for Bridgette. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed having fun in the sun, at the beach, on the lake, or just tanning. Music was also a big part of her life, and she loved playing it loud while singing along.

Those who knew Bridgette loved her, and she loved them. In fact, she loved and helped everyonewhether she knew them or not. She will also be remembered as a very strong person, who was also strong-willed and persistent. She didnt give up on things that were important to her, and she wasnt afraid to get a bit ornery. Another trait of hers was an uncanny ability to raise the volume whenever she was present. She was loud and made herself known!

Bridgette is survived by her husband, Dennis; children, Ashley (Matthew Lopez) Bruner and Trevor Bruner; mother, Joyce Green; brother, Jimmy Green; granddaughters, Alyssa and Mia Lopez; and her grandson, Matthew Lopez, Jr. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rachel Bruner, and her father, Jim Green.

A Graveside Service will begin at 11am on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Olive Lawn Memorial Park in La Mirada, California.
