Betty Chiaudano

Betty Jane Chiaudano was born May 18, 1917 in Steele City, Nebraska to Pierce D. and Maud (Stewart) Earhart. She passed away Friday, September 17, 2010 in Whittier, California.Betty grew up in Steele City and attended Belvidere schools. On February 15, 1941, she married John J. Chiudano in Clark County, Nevada.She was a long-term charter member of Walteria United Methodist Church in Torrance, California.Mrs. Chiaudano is survived by her daughter Cheryl (Vern) L. Matheson; grandson, Timothy Matheson; granddaughter, Melanie (Timothy) L. Curiel; great-grandson, Anthony James Matheson; and great-granddaughter, Renee C. Matheson. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Chiaudano and her son, Danny J. Chiaudano.A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 South Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
