Aurelio Fregoso Jara

Aurelio Fregoso Jara was born on November 12,1939 in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico to Luis and Margarita (Fregoso) Jara. He passed away on December 22, 2011 at the age of 72.Aurelio lived in Mexico until the age of 23 when he made his way to the United States with a friend seeking work. He worked for awhile on a ranch in La Puente, California.His primary occupation was a factory worker in the ceramics industry.He met his wife Ramona (Guerrero) through a friend at a beach party. They have been married for 48 years.Family was important to Aurelio and he enjoyed building chairs for each of them.In addition, he liked to play billards, go fishing, and write poems.Aurelio was a Christian and belonged to the Church of God.He is survived by his loving wife, Ramona; three children; Alex, Luis and Laura,. along with eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Visitation will take place at White Emerson Mortuary on Thursday, December 29th from 5-8pm.A memorial sericewill held at White Emerson Mortuary Chapel on Friday, December 30, 2011, at 12noon.
