Aurelia R. Fonseca

Aurelia Ramos Fonseca passed away on April 4, 2012 in Lancaster, California. Born on July 27, 1920 in Morelia, Michoacn, Mexico, Aurelia was born to her parents Francisco & Maria (Rodriguez) Ramos. After growing up in Morelia, Aurelia moved to Tijuana, Baja California in 1938. She later immigrated to the United States in 1962, and lived in Norwalk, California for many years. She made her final move in December 2008 to Lancaster, California.Aurelia was married in Mexicali, Mexico in 1958. Among her hobbies were walking, spending all the time she could with her family, and reading her Bible. She was a very devout woman of faith, and was most recently a member of the Iglesia La Cosecha in Lancaster, California.She is survived by her children, Felipe 'Phil' R. (Lindy) Fonseca and Elizabeth Garcia; her 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 10:00AM at White Emerson Mortuary, 13304 Philadelphia St., Whittier. A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening, April 10, 2012 from 5:00PM - 9:00PM at White Emerson Mortuary. Interment will immediately follow the funeral service on Wednesday, April 11, at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier.
