Arthur C. Felix, "pops", passed away on December 15, 2022 in Pasadena, California. He was 71 years old. He is survived by his two children, Alenna Felix Rettig and Arthur Felix; grandsons, Dakota Rettig and Sawyer Rettig; his mother Maria Alice Felix; his sisters Maryellen Felix Ramirez Zuniga , Alice Caballero, and Anna Felix; and the many people he has impacted at the BG.
Arthur's childhood years were spent in Hacienda Heights, California graduating from Los Altos High School in 1970. In 1971, Arthur began to serve his country in the United States Navy. He was a part of the United States Navy Mobile Construction Battalion, better known as the Navy Seabees. Arthur spent twenty years as a housing inspector for the city of Los Angeles. On March 1, 2010, Arthur started his sobriety journey at the Bishop Gooden Center in Pasadena, California, where he then became a House Manager for the Hockman house sponsoring and mentoring many, impacting lives in a significant and miraculous way.
Loving the Los Angeles Dodgers, USC football and oldies, Arthur enjoyed dancing, chatting with family and friends, good food and traveling. He will forever be missed.
