Armida Mary Spinogatti was born on June 29, 1931 in Monterotondo, Italy to Dominic and Riccarda (Marani) Loretucci. She grew up in Perugia, Italy and came to the States in 1952, eventually making her way to California. It was here that she met Valente Mauro Spinogatti, to whom she would become engaged on February 14, 1954, and marry on September 4 of the same year. They were married for 44 years until Vals death in 1996.
The couple made their home in Whittier, where Armida lived for over 60 years. It was here that she raised her three daughters and enjoyed her nephews as well. After all three daughters graduated from high school, Armida went to work in the family business alongside her husband Val for 18 years. They eventually retired to Crystal Lakes Estates.
Armida loved the outdoors, particularly gardening, and cooking. Most of all, she loved having all of her family around her. The family was very familiar with her favorite sayings, such as Everything gonna be okay!, Whatta you gonna do?!?, and Oh you know.
Armida is survived by her three daughters, Lina (Bob) Brant, Donna (Bruce) Perryman, and Patty (Richie) Villarreal, and by her grandchildren, Michael (Erica) Benedetto, Steven (Shayna) Benedetto, Trina Norwood Ugalde, Nicholas Norwood, Tatiana Gaulden, Jessica Brant Mitsos, and Bobby Brant, and 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Armida is also survived by two sisters, Dora and Adele.
Armida was adored and loved by all who knew her.
