Armida Davila

Armida Davila was born in Los Angeles, California on March 4, 1928, to Ignacio and Armida (Castellanos) Davila. She passed away in Ontario, California, on March 11, 2014 at the age of 86.

Armida graduated from Los Angeles Polythnic High School and was the Suma Cum Laude of her class.

Following graduation, she was married to Jose David Davila Jose passed away at a young age leaving her to raise 7 daughters by herself.

She worked as a secretary for 25 years as well as being a homemaker.

Armida loved to play bingo was a tennis competitor, enjoyed the 'Price is Right' and making vegetarian enchiladas which were sold at Myers' Department Store in Whittier, California.

Expressions of love by the family include, witty, strong, smart, wise, compassionate and fun.

She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Ann Black,. Valerie Crow, Ann Dumi, Linda Meise, Helen Ayala, Cathy Davila and Michelle Paulos, along with 13 grandchildren and extended family members.
