Anne Tarnoff

Our mother and grandmother Anne Mike Tarnoff passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the age of 89. She is preceded in death by her parents Mike and Paulina Lisizin.

 Anne was born and lived her life in Southern California and raised her two daughters, Elaine “Elena” (Luke) Conovaloff and Nadine “Nadya” (James) Bolotin in Montebello, CA. She is survived by her daughters, their husbands, her brother William (Jenny) Lisizin, and grandchildren, Lara, Cheryl, Joseph and Peter (Alexandra), and nephews and nieces.

 Much of her life, Anne worked in banking and then in the food industry as a secretary until retirement.

 She loved to sing in church and had a special place in her heart for members of the congregation. Anne was kind and friendly to all she met and enjoyed speaking in three languages, Russian, Spanish and English.

 Mom/Babunya gave strong encouragement to everyone in her family to be their best, follow their pursuits and instilled strong Christian family values. Her favorite pastime was to give a token of money to her grandchildren, nieces and nephews to buy ice cream. She will be dearly and greatly missed. She has gone home to be with our Lord in heaven.
