Amanda died peacefully at home November 10, 2015 of natural causes, surrounded by her family. She was born in Managua, Nicaragua into the aristocratic Fuentes Solorzano family with 6 siblings and enjoyed a formal high level education and loving upbringing. Twice widowed, she gave birth to a son, Yaro and daughter Elizabeth. She is survived by her daughter, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
With her sweet subtle smile and wit, she could charm anyone she met, all of whom became her admirer. She retained vivid memories of friends and family in great detail until the very end. All who knew her will remember her with love.
Services will be held at Saint Bruno Catholic Church, in Whittier, California, on November 20, 2015 at 9:30 A.M., followed by a private interment at Rose Hills Memorial Park, also in Whittier.
