Alden "Ole" Brown

Alden Ole Brown passed away on February 22, 2019 in Fullerton, California at the age of 86. He was born on May 23, 1932 in Blair Wisconsin and was a longtime resident of La- Mirada, California. Alden worked for over 37 years as a truck driver delivering milk for Foremost Dairies and Stater Brothers. He loved working on cars and would often rebuild engines (including lawnmower engines). He also loved fishing, gardening and going to garage sales. He is preceded in death by his son, Steven Brown; parents, Nora and Clarence brown; brothers, Maynard Brown, Richard Brown and his sister, Doris Eckel. Alden is survived by his wife, Rebecca Brown; children, Larry Brown, Danny Brown, Sherilyn Scott, Lorijon Brown, Antionette Peterson; grandchildren, Aaron Pauly, Kyle Brown, Corey Brown, Sarah Brown, Shelby Peterson, Sydney Peterson and great grandchild, Max Brown. Alden was a devout Christian and a member of the Fountain of Life Lutheran Church of La Mirada where his services will be held. A viewing will begin at 11:45am on Saturday, March 2nd and a memorial service will begin at 12:30pm. A graveside service will be held immediately following the church service at Olive Lawn Memorial Park, La Mirada. A reception at the church will then follow the graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made in Aldens names to a charity of one's choice.
